The Science Center is not just for kids! Sunset Science is an adult lecture series featuring timely science topics, coffee and conversation. Lectures are typically held on the first Friday of each month at 7 p.m. Tickets include the lecture, desserts and Heine Brothers Coffee.

Sunset Science is held in the Science Center's fourth floor Riverview Room. Upon arrival, please check in at the front desk.

Mongolia and New Mexico:
Windows into Dinosaur Discoveries

Friday, June 6, 7-8 p.m.
Alan Turner, M.S., featured in DINOSAURS ALIVE

Tickets: $10 Science Center members; $15 non-members
includes lecture, film, desserts and Heine Brothers Coffee

Turner will discuss his recent research on dinosaurs from Mongolia and how their evolutionary history relates to bird origins. He will also discuss his fieldwork in New Mexico, which is featured in the film, and how new discoveries are changing our view of early dinosaur evolution. DINOSAURS ALIVE shows at 6 and 8 p.m.
