Win a free assembly program!*
Become urban miners for the chance to win a free school assembly program featuring Science Center demonstrations! In partnership with Eco-Cell, the Louisville Science Center has set a goal of collecting at least 5,000 used electronic items. Collect cell phones and other handheld electronic devices between now and May 4, 2012.  The school that collects the most devices will win a free visit from Science Center educators. Eco-Cell will make a contribution to the Science Center for each item collected!

To register your school, or for more information, email or call 502-561-6100, ext. 6143.  To find out which items you can donate, or more about urban mining and how it protects our environment, download the school flyer or visit eco-cell.com.

*Participating schools must be within 30 miles of the Louisville Science Center to be eligible for the school assembly program.
