Inside Africa
Gain a deeper understanding of the world's second largest continent and its peoples from historical and contemporary perspectives in Inside Africa.
Discover Africa's countries, cities, languages, religions and geography through hands-on activities, multimedia presentations and an exceptional collection of African artifacts.
Experience the Senegalese tradition of hospitality in the contemporary Senegal capital of Dakar. Travel to the Sahara Desert to complete the strenuous task of gathering water from the interactive well. Listen to a musician perform a welcome song on the kora, an African musical instrument, and view life-size skulls of African animals.
Inside Africa, based on a permanent display at the Field Museum in Chicago, was produced by Clear Channel Exhibitions in collaboration with the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Inside Africa is made possible by the Procter & Gamble Company.
