World Water Week

Dive into the Science Center’s world water celebration! Students will explore the scientific properties of water, its importance to the world we live in, and the water-related issues we are facing in our own community.
NanoDays
> April 1-3
Is the world getting smaller? Science certainly is as we celebrate the spectacular world of nanotechnology. Examine the properties of miniscule materials and their importance to the world around us. Hear about the latest research in the nano world and the newest innovations in nanotechnology.
Celebration of the Young Child
> April 12-16
Bring your little ones out to play during the Week of the Young Child! Activities will spark the curious nature of young children and encourage them to ask, seek, play and create. Teachers and families will be inspired to engage young inquisitive minds in everyday learning.
Messy Afternoons
> Every Thursday and Saturday, noon-4pm
Science gets a little sloppy during Messy Afternoons. Get your hands dirty as you play with all things slippery, slimy, sticky, and squishy. Activities are intended to introduce children seven and under to science, and yes, you might get a little messy.
